John spent many years at Blakewell creating his perfect smoked salmon and trout.He learned the ancient art of dry curing and smoking various species of fish living in Denmark, near the Fjords for many years. From the slow and traditional Scandinavian way John has created his ‘North Devon Cure’ smoked in the Blakewell Valley. He smokes his trout and salmon over matured woodchips, taking that extra time and attention needed to bring you the finest quality. He does‘t rush it, he takes his time with it, working in harmony with nature’s momentum. John is passionate about his Devon Smoked Salmon and Trout. He’d like you to experience it, he thinks you’ll enjoy it ... just like he does.
